'Grown-up' Stuff at Chaplin Theatre Arts Hello and Thank you for your enquiry regarding Chaplin Theatre Arts! We are a registered school of the IDTA (International Dance Teacher's Association) offering classes in dance and drama for all ages and abilities. Our aim is to encourage the confidence, discipline and imagination of children and young people through weekly classes and holiday workshops in all aspects of theatre. The main branch of the Academy is based at Holne Chase School on Buckingham Road in Bletchley,Milton Keynes with over 250 pupils attending classes on a weekly basis, from the age of 3 years right up to our very talented Adults. Classes are taught by myself (Dance and Drama), Miss Christine Reynolds (Dance), Miss Lindsey Denoven (Dance) and Mr Andy Collier (Singing). All the teaching staff are qualified in their respective areas and regularly attend Seminars and Area Meetings to keep up to date with current teaching ideas and changes to the syllabus. There is a further branch of the Academy at Winslow Combined School and I also teach at Thornton College, Buckinghamshire. We are a very busy team, organising regular exam sessions, open days - and a show involving all the pupils every year. In addtion to this, we also take part in local charity work and are available to perform cabarets for special events in the area. The staff are also involved in many of the local musical societies andparticipate in their productions on either the performing or the directional / choreographic side.
